Installation guide

About beta builds

During the beta period we ship builds that are not code-signed yet. macOS may show a Gatekeeper warning and Windows may show a SmartScreen warning. The general-availability release will be signed with an Apple Developer ID and EV code signing.

macOS
  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file.
  2. Drag the MeshLaw icon into the Applications folder.
  3. If an "unidentified developer" warning appears on first launch, right-click the app in Finder → Open → then choose Open again.
Windows
  1. Run the downloaded .exe installer.
  2. If the "Windows protected your PC" screen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
  3. Follow the setup wizard to finish the installation.

System requirements

  • macOS 12 Monterey or later (Apple Silicon and Intel both supported)
  • Windows 10 (1809) or later, or Windows 11, 64-bit
  • At least 4GB RAM and 2GB of free disk space
  • Internet connection (for AI analysis and case-law search)
